I was tempted to go windsurfing but the wind disappeared and we woke to a clear blue sunny mild day so it was up early pack a picnic and head off on the bikes again :) We set off towards the Ferry avoiding the busy prom before, at The Dip we turned down along the sea past the golf course and Martello towers to the Ferry. After taking in the views from the jetty we then headed out on the river path to Kings Fleet where we saw a huge flock of geese :) There were lots of walkers enjoying a lovely day but things quietened down as we picked by the side of Kings Fleet, passing a big flock of geese grazing in a field. It was then onto Fakenham Church for a stunning display of snowdrops before going to Kirton Creek for our picnic watching waders out in the mud with the tide out and for the second week running we spotted a Buzzard :) Using a mixture of footpaths and country lanes we made it back to Trimley before heading down to Felixstowe Docks. I then headed to the dock viewing point while Mag headed home. After crossing Landguard nature reserve and along a very busy prom I made it home for a much needed cuppa - another top near 20 n/mile ride around lovely Suffolk :)
